The Queen's Silver Jubilee: Codicote, Hertfordshire, 1977
John Walmsley
Softback zine documenting celebrations for The Queen's Silver Jubilee: Codicote, Hertfordshire, 1977, by John Walmsley. Notable amongst the celebrations was the "pram race" in Codicote - one of many across the UK organised as part of the festivities.
"I like to think, had she not been busy elsewhere, she would have been taken part and loved it. Just imagine, Her Majesty racing along, Prince Charles hanging on in the pram, corgis as outriders making sure the other contestants 'Knew their place' and didn't sneak in front." - John Walmsley
