Sovinec (ref 22)

Jindrich Streit began his long term exploration of the village in the 1970s, photographing life in and around the twenty or so houses in his home community of Sovinec and its neighbours in the Moravian region of the Czech Republic. His work is more concerned with the difficulties posed by trying to take a picture of two people having lunch, than the more overt drama of a fire or a strike.
